Welcome! We are glad you are interested in knowing more about South Creek Church. South Creek Church (SCC) was born 8 years ago in an effort to build a new testament church from the ground up that was true to the Word of God and one that adhered to Reformed Theology. SCC is a church that loves God, loves His Word, and loves one another. You will find that the people of SCC have a passion for honoring the Word of God in their own lives and a passion for sharing it in our city, state, nation, and to the ends of the earth.
Our church is designed around the truth that we have just one driving desire and that is to please God and not man. Everything that SCC does revolves around that one truth. Our mission statement is that “SSC exists to glorify God by leading people to obey His Word”.
When you come to one of our services on Sunday morning, you will find that we come as we are. We come through the doors dressed as we would on any day of the week. Most people you encounter will be dressed like you would see them at the supermarket or the hardware store. They will be glad that you came and want to know how they can help you get around while you’re there. You will find that people are “real”, meaning that if they are doing great you’ll know it and if life is crashing down on them, you’ll know it too. The people of SCC “take on” one another’s burdens and heartaches and pray that God will be glorified in them.
When you come to SCC you will find small groups for every age. Everyone of those small groups will teach sound theology and practical life application of what you have learned. There will be child care for you during the worship service for those little ones who are 3 and under. It is a very safe environment where attention to child safety is of the utmost importance. The service will have contemporary music that is theologically accurate and there will be verse by verse teaching of the bible.
All of this is what you will experience when you come to worship with us. The elders of SCC invite you to come and experience a real new testament church that is all about glorifying our great God.
